
Dr. Tim Corcoran joined the team here at Eger Eye Group in 2012. Dr. Tim is a graduate of Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa. and he graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Corcoran is a member of the Pennsylvania Optometric Association and a member and past president of the Western Pennsylvania Optometric Society. In 1997 and 2014 the Western Pennsylvania Optometric Association honored him with “Optometrist of the Year”. Dr. Tim provides eye care for senior citizens as part of Life Pittsburgh. He performs school screenings for Cornell and Moon school districts and has been part of a team of doctors providing health care for the athletes of Robert Morris University. He provides eye care for Girls Hope and participates in Mission Vision, which enables low income families to receive eye exams.
Tim and his wife Katie live in Sewickley and are the parents of three wonderful children; Annie, Mike and Cassie. Tim enjoys cycling on the Montour Trail with Dr. Noah. Tim and Katie have ridden much of the Great Allegheny Passage and C and O Canal trails together. Some of Tim’s favorite family activities include; running road races with Annie, competing in triathlons with Mike and skiing with Cassie.
