Dr. Brenna Gerchman has recently relocated to Pittsburgh to be with her Husband, a western Pennsylvania native and a member or the 171st Air National Guard.
She graduated from University of Maine with a B.S in Biology in 2016. Dr. Brenna continued her education at Illinois College of Optometry and graduated in 2020. Following Optometry school, Dr. Brenna went on to complete a Residency in Ocular Disease at Hershel “Woody” Williams VAMC in Huntington, WV. She is particularly interested in management and treatment of ocular diseases. After residency, Dr. Brenna went back to her hometown for two years, providing eye care to people in rural Maine.
Dr. Gerchman is a member of Western Pennsylvania Optometric Society and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association. She is excited to get involved in volunteer opportunities and vision screenings in the area.
In Brenna’s free time she enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, fishing, skiing, cooking, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
